Projects of furniture and design

Each project is different in design, scale, and needs. But they all share something in common: the need to coordinate multiple scopes with precision. At InteriContract, we participate in hospitality, retail, office, and residential development projects, integrating millwork, fixed carpentry, FF&E, OS&E, decoration, and interior design under a single platform of solutions. Furniture and interior design projects in Costa Rica

The Waldorf Astoria

The Waldorf Astoria Punta Cacique Hotel, in Guanacaste, has been one of the most challenging and rewarding hotel furniture projects in InteriContract's history in Costa Rica. Custom furniture design- The project was executed comprehensively: from capturing the requirements of the team of architects and interior designers in a custom furniture design, to materializing all the millwork for the hotel rooms—closets, internal doors, wall paneling, TV furniture, and desks. The result was a design that captured the desired vision of atmosphere and materials, grounded and tropicalized to the reality of the project. Factory validation: model room in Spain- Given the short time available, a model room was replicated at the manufacturer's facilities in Spain, which allowed for the live assessment of the proposed furniture and materials before mass production. In parallel, the InteriContract team worked intensely with the project's engineering and construction teams to develop shop drawings and the installation strategy. Installation under the Just-in-Time philosophy- The installation process was executed with a fully engineering-based vision, based on the Just-in-Time philosophy, which eliminated the need for large warehouses or inventories on-site. This allowed for the preservation of the integrity and finish of the materials before, during, and after installation. In total, InteriContract installed furniture in more than 120 hotel rooms, including the most iconic ones in the project: the Presidential suite, family villas, and duplex-style rooms, among others. A major logistical challenge- The installation was completed in just under 10 months, within the deadlines and budget established by the construction company, always under the supervision of InteriContract professionals and with teams specialized in this type of furniture. The biggest challenge was logistical: the site was located 300 km from the capital, which required coordinating transportation, lodging, food, tools, and minor materials, along with all the requirements inherent to a project of this magnitude.
